Young workers are more likely to get injured on the job than older workers. According to the CDC, workers aged 15–24 are 1.2–2.3 times more likely to be injured than workers aged 25–44. A 2024 report from the Workers Compensation Research Institute found that workers under 25 reported more frequent injuries than those 55 and older.
